Our students who graduated from the civil defense and firefighting, private security and protection and postal services programs at our university's Bünyan Vocational School in the spring semester of 2022-2023 were given their diplomas and donned a shed.

The graduation ceremony held at Bünyan Vocational School Şadi Korkmaz Conference Hall was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Şahmetlioğlu, Bünyan District Governor Turgut Gülen, Bünyan Mayor Özhan Altun, Bünyan Vocational School Director Assoc. Dr. Sedat Per, district protocol, academic staff, students and families attended.

Bünyan Vocational School Director Assoc. Dr. Sedat Per gave information about the studies at the school and wished the graduate students success in their future lives.

Addressing the graduate students, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Şahmetlioğlu said, “The real life for you begins after this. You will successfully apply what you learned in school in your professional life. You will work to be a useful individual to your family and country. You will never be discouraged by the obstacles that you may encounter in life, and you will always strive to be better. Referring to the sed-wearing ceremony of the students instead of throwing their caps at the graduation ceremonies, which they have made traditional as Kayseri University, Prof. Dr. Şahmetlioğlu stated that the Akhism, which is an important component of our ancient culture and Anatolian wisdom, is an indicator of our ancient culture, and in this context, the importance of knowledge, experience, loyalty and patience values ​​​​to the students was pointed out with the shed-girding ceremony as a symbol.

After the speeches, the diploma of Perihan Koca, one of our Vocational School Transportation Services Department Postal Services Program students, who lost their lives in the earthquakes that took place in Kahramanmaraş and its surroundings on February 6, 2023, was presented to Vice Rector Prof. Dr. It was given to his parents by Ertuğrul Şahmetlioğlu.

In the later part of the ceremony, the top student of the school, Postal Services Program Student Erdi Yavuz made a speech and put a plaque on the graduation log. Award and achievement certificates were given to the students who ranked high, and all graduates were given their graduation certificates. The ceremony ended after a group photo shoot.
