Bünyan Vocational School was first established at the meeting of the General Council of Higher Education dated 20.10.2006, in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of the Law No. 2547 amended with the Law No. 2880, as an affiliation to Erciyes University, and then Officially dated 18.05.2018 and numbered 30425. With the Law No. 7141 on Higher Education and some Laws and Decree-Laws published in the Gazette, it was affiliated to the Rectorate of Kayseri University. The Postal Services Program, which was opened within the body of Bünyan Vocational School, started education by taking its first students as of the 2020-2021 academic year.

In the Postal Services Program, whose training period is 2 years, as vocational courses;
Postal Services History and Organization, Letter Mail, Notification Procedures, Postal Services Legislation, Separation, Dispatch and Distribution, Registered Mail, Logistics Services, Philately, Cargo Services, General Business Information, Accounting, Economics, Negotiable Documents Law, Customer Relationship Management and Quality Systems courses are included. In addition to the basic courses, professional, social and cultural development is supported with the elective courses included in the curriculum. It is planned that the students will be given the Entrepreneurship I and Entrepreneurship II courses in the 3rd and 4th semesters of their associate degree education, and they will have the KOSGEB-supported "Entrepreneurship Certificate". With this document, our graduates who want to open their own business after graduation will have the opportunity to obtain a grant from KOSGEB. In the program, students get to know the postal service sector, have command of the postal process, have the necessary knowledge and equipment in the fields of human resources, public relations and marketing of postal services necessary for quality and competent service delivery, basic knowledge that will contribute to the country's postal services in the most effective way, It is aimed to learn skills and practices.

Graduates can establish and operate cargo and courier companies on their own behalf and can also work in various cargo and courier companies. Our students, who have graduated with the theoretical and practical education they have gained in the Postal Services department, pass the T.R. They can take office with the title of "Mail Distributor" within the Post and Telegraph Organization Joint Stock Company (PTT) under the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications.
