Establishment;
Bünyan Vocational School was first established at the meeting of the General Council of Higher Education on 20.10.2006, in accordance with the 7/d-2 article of the Law No. 2547 amended by the Law No. 2880, as an affiliate of Erciyes University, and then published in the Official Gazette dated 18.05.2018 and numbered 30425. With the Law No. 7141 on Higher Education and some Laws and Decree-Laws, it was affiliated to the Rectorate of Kayseri University. The Private Security and Protection Program, which was opened within the body of Bünyan Vocational School, started education by accepting its first students as of the 2019-2020 academic year.

Program Profile
In the Private Security and Protection Program, whose training period is 2 years, as vocational courses;
Private Security Measures and Protection Services, Emergency and Crisis Management, General Law Enforcement Relations and Security Measures, Private Security Law, Basic First Aid, Behavioral Sciences, Public Relations and Communication, Criminal Law, Security Management, Close Defense, Weapons Knowledge, Social Psychology courses is located. Professional development, social and cultural development are supported by elective courses in the curriculum. Students take Private Security and Professional Ethics, Total Quality in Security courses in the 2nd semester of their associate degree education. Students are trained as individuals who have the mental and physical competence to fulfill the given task at any time and under any conditions, strictly adhering to professional ethical rules, respecting the personal rights of people.

Employment Profiles of Graduates
Graduates can establish and operate private security companies on their own behalf and account, as well as work and teach in various private security companies. They can take part in the infrastructure or management of security services of institutions and organizations in the public and private sectors. Our graduates can be employed in the above-mentioned fields of study all over Turkey. At the same time, the doors of these institutions are open to the graduates of the program, since there is an associate degree requirement for the "security officer staff" preferences in the civil servant recruitment made with the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS-B). Students who will graduate from this program can work in public or private institutions in the region, or they can run their own businesses. Employment areas; They can work as security and protection officers in the security units of enterprises, universities, municipalities, schools, shopping centers, large sites, hotels, entertainment centers. They can also take part in the protection of important individuals and organizations. Students who will graduate from this program will have the opportunity to be employed as "Private Security Personnel" in all institutions and organizations in the public and private sectors.
Transition to Higher Degree Programs;
Students who graduate from our program can apply to ÖSYM and if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam, they can do undergraduate education by making a vertical transfer to the departments of Emergency Aid and Disaster Management and Social Services.
